Player's Review

"...and lo, a mighty warrior shall come from the frozen wastelands of the north, and he will stand alone against the forces of darkness..."

The go to fighting game on the 8 and 16bit home computer platforms. The game is split into two loadable executables. Part one (Tape Side1) is a Practice mode with its own background images. Why it exists is anyone's guess as I'm sure it could have easily been a selectable mode. In this part you can play through seven rounds of increasing difficulty. Level 7 is endless and will be played over and over until death becomes you.

Part Two (Tape Side 2) is the main game and requires playing through seven levels before finally going against Drax in the final round. Drax is a cheating tard and taking a single hit of his magic will end you. Defeating him requires some tightly executed and timed moves to roll into him without getting hit. Upon defeating Drax you save the Princess and head off to your next adventure

The Longplay could have been much shorter but i have added some bits to pad it out. The longplay opens with Part One in demo mode and sfx. I let it play out both rounds before getting into the main game. After completing the game with music enabled, I play through it again with sfx instead. I complete it faster than expected but doesn't show anything extra.
