Player's Review

"Description from Mobygames:-
Play as either Brad or Janet to rescue the other, in this computer adaptation of the hit Broadway Musical The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Search the castle for pieces of the Medusa machine to free your partner from stone and escape the castle before it blasts off. Each one must be taken to the De-Medusa machine, only carrying one at a time. You must collect keys and disable force fields along the way.

Other characters in the game will hinder your progress by stealing and hiding your clothes or other objects you may be carrying. Watch out for Riff-Raff or he'll shoot you with his laser gun. And if Eddie thaws out and escapes from the freezer, he'll run you over with his motorcycle."

This is likely the release that the majority remembers playing. It's pretty much the same as the spectrum game with its hires but simplistic graphics. This version of the game is quite difficult though as the timer drops fast making it almost unbeatable. Of course a timer isn't enough of challenge so you only get one life and it's all too easy to lose it.

If you are lucky, running into the castle occupant's will just cause you to lose your clothes and then you need to go and find them in order to carry items. You can be insta killed by being shot with the death ray or walking into the lightning field as well as being run over my Eddies bike.

Dying causes the credits roll. Running out of time shows the castle flying off to Transylvania before rolling the credits and escaping the castle just shows you the castle before rolling credits. Overall it feels very unrewarding for the effort and running out of time gives the most interesting ending.
