Player's Review

Not much to say about this one. A simple arcade style shooting game. survive as many levels as possible and score well. There are 32 levels that you can start on although level 32 seemingly plays over and over. The idea is simple enough, shoot the Cyborg Arachnid Mutants as tey drop down. If you shoot the web, they will drop to the floor and become Weeviloids. Once they drop to the floor they can be hard to avoid but you can move the laser wall up and down in order to refract your laser blasts.

The longplay shows a run through twenty levels before running out of lives. I then jump to level thirty two and survive as long as I can. There is no ending and seemingly goes on forever more until dead. Interestingly the Spectrum game box lists 99 levels ... but why. It's an ok conversion but collision detection issues with the floor weebles making them hard to hit can be a source of frustration.
