Otogi: Myth of Demons
|
Player's Review
This is a first playthrough of the story. You can repeat for a second playthrough where you retain your equipment but the difficulty increases.
I have previously played Otogi 2 and I wanted to try the first game out. I found them both very similar in that you are encouraged to repeat levels in order to gain experience, gold and to destroy the environment to gather unlocks. The game keeps a record of your destruction so if you repeat a level the destruction remains which is pretty nice.
The levels of Otogi can be challenging first time round but once you know what to do the levels can be beaten very quickly within a couple of minutes or less. For my video I rarely show my first attempt at a level however it's never my last attempt where I am over levelled and speed right on through. Therefore my character levels and equipment may change throughout. It was half way through the game to realise how useful magic can actually be and got a decent combo going. I missed the intro video from the start so added it to the end of the video instead.
