Zhu Zhu Pets: Quest for Zhu
|
Player's Review
A very straightforward platformer featuring characters from the Zhu Zhu Pets franchise.
Gameplay wise it is pretty much similar to the Wii game, only that here you are limited to four characters and each of them has a special feature, one of them can run faster, while the others can either jump higher, destroy rock walls or plane after jumping. Each level was played with all characters (see timecodes for the revisits) in order to pick up their respective big coin, doing this unlocks a series of challenges and I show a sample of them right after completion of the main thing.
Also featured in the game are three minigames where you can earn coins to use at the shop. Which for some weird reason it can only be accessed after defeating the final boss, but what they offer are just hints for the character's coins, as well as a compass to locate them in each stage. Overall a game that does not offer much in terms of content, considering the fact it is aimed at younger audiences just like the Wii game in the franchise.
