Some of our longplays cannot be scheduled for YouTube due to one or many reasons that break our longplay standards, which are documented right below the entry's name (and an evidence of the fault when required). Reasons can be either of the following:
- Bad visual/audio quality
- Improper deinterlacing, upscaling or cropping methods
- Major emulation glitches
- Incomplete progression (missing important content such as playable modes with unique content for example, this also includes bonus stages within main mode and of course endings if there are more than just one)
- Usage of certain cheats such as infinite lives or stats, which is
NOT tolerable at all for emulated systems.
These entries also include the 'Needs Replacement' tag for easy filtering in the Latest Releases page. Keep in mind the person who originally recorded the longplay is the main responsible for the redo, as long as they still submit new longplays on a regular basis, so if anyone else expresses their wish to replace the entry for them, they have to ask first. If the person rejects the offer, then the note 'Currently being replaced by <original longplayer>' (
in bold) will be added to the short description field as a reminder. In the case of officially inactive members, no permission is required to submit a redo.
