Description (WiP) :
Duke Nukem is an FPS (mainly) Developed by 3D Realms and published by GT Interactive Software. I first played this game on PlayStation (1) in ... French (Jerky and soft translations AND acting). This game is quite a lot fun to do on higher difficulty, but, for the longplay pace I'll stick to middle one. There aren't too many aliens to fight and bosses are a bit weaker.
Episode 1 is fairly easy to do in one sitting run (1 hour and 30 minutes, a standard football match duration.), pretty straight forward the most time except the last level which use a bit of backtracking. The first 2 levels and the secret one can be done under 15 minutes each, from level 3 you are likely to do 20 - 30 minutes while knowing the levels well. The end boss is fairly easy to beat if you're strafing enough. In this game, like all FPS you don't want to stand in front of your enemy.
I think I'll do a multi-part longplay from Episode 2. This will require some internal testings (How to do the longplay as smooth as possible and such things, I will use save, obviously).
(Episode 2 will be started when Episode 1 is recorded)
ToDo :
- Finish up and publish the demo video
- Fix once and for all that storage issue (done !)
- Get a better computer (Done ! Laptop with 2 Graphics card working at once, good storage and way better CPU)
Next update : Whenever there are news to say.
