Technical question regarding an old game that uses DX7

I was trying to do a recording for an old adventure game, Runaway: A Road Adventure. I couldn't get it to play nice with OBS, but Bandicam captured almost everything perfectly. The problem is during the cut scenes it will stop capturing mouth movements when characters are talking for some reason. It captures all the other animations and gameplay just fine. Any tips or thoughts?

Also, I think we already have that game:

Wraps Glide and DirectX 1-8 to DirectX 11. Just drop the appropriate dll(s) in your game directory and your game will effectively be using DirectX 11 which is a lot more friendly with modern capture tools. Can also help getting old games to work.
