Player's Review

"Enter a time when men were warriors and Gods ruled the world. A time of good against evil, a place of danger. Summoned by Zeus to rescue Athena, you will infiltrate the Underworld with the power to transform into mythical creatures with supernatural strength.

Level 1: Become a savage Werewolf and use teeth and nails to shred your enemies to pieces. Capture three of the elusive Spirit Balls and you'll be transformed into a ferocious, fireball throwing Werewolf.
Level 2 and 3: Take flight as Weredragon and use fiery force to fry the followers of Neff. Creep across slippery crevasses inside a deep cavern as the crafty Werebear.
Level 4 and 5: Stalk the gates of the Underworld fortress as a maneating Weretiger, a predator with no pity. Inside the inner-sanctum call on Golden Werewolf's might to demolish Neff, the demon - forever."

One of the launch games for the Genesis allowing you to play the arcade game at home! The game takes you through five levels with only two lives. The game is deceptively short and completion is fairly easy.

But wait, there's more! After completing the game, the game loops on a higher difficulty level. The game is more challenging and those lives are quite valuable now. Upon completion, the game game loops yet again onto the highest difficulty mode and now you are in for a rough ride as enemies are multiple, faster and take more hits to kill.

Upon completion, the game loops yet again but the game is seemingly endless replaying this difficulty over and over again. A good time to get a game over in the longplay and shut it down me thinks.

There are no extra lives or energy to earn, but It will give you an extra hit point when looping the game though, yay I guess. On the third loop I show two stages of each level when missing an orb as they have extra waves to show. Actually even a third stage which I show just once on the forth loop.
