Player's Review

"Legal larceny at your service! Mike and Spike Bonanza, burglars for hire, will stop any wiseguys. We've got 10-ton weights to drop on their heads. We hide behind doors. If a baddie comes through- bash!-one door-slam in the face coming up! Missing property? Let us find it. We bag the loot and ride a clothesline to safety. Unless we step on a rake and it hits us in the face! Don't let bad guys make your life miserable. Call the good guys! We might slip on banana peels, but we bash 'em and smash 'em!"

The US release has an alternate story behind the characters. No longer Mobo & Robo Criminals for hire but instead Mike and Spike, Security Specialists for hire. The game is split into two allowing for two players to work in co-op in order to collect the loot and distract bad guys. You can hide as well as trigger traps while knocking out the guards. Collect all items and race to the roof to get out of there within the time limit. There are a couple of cutscenes between a few levels but no apparent bonus levels.

Note that there are some obnoxious flickering effects when trying to provide a cinematic effect in cutscenes as well as what might be bliting errors when displaying the hurry up messages.
