We are still waiting on a suitable Amiga AGA emulator with robust recording features before tackling such games.

I'm playing this to compare with the Amiga Original.
It seems more effort was put into this port, witht he music being alot more faithful to the original. The gfx are mostly the same, although the roads are notably different. The zool/rock tune is missing fromt his version.
I played on hard difficulty and frustrating is an understatement. The times can be so damn tight, and especially on the snow level which I tried many times to beat. In the end I had to cheat with the ole Game Genie to get past it, not proud of it, but im gonna call it... 'impossible'. The main issue is the uphill climb on the final lap which sucks up your time, and it doesnt help having an ai car sneak in and bash you about.
Other stages seemed to provide a massive surplus of time, signs of a well balanced game....
Eventually we come to the ending which is abit better then the simple 'Well Done' in the Amiga version.
the mini game POD is included in this version but has not been recorded. The high score table lists the code POD PLEASE which you enter as your name in order to play the POD game.
