Out of this World

Also known as Another world in EU region. Another port of the original Amiga version to the genesis. The game is quite low res for a genesis and relies on the tv performing some aspect correction much like the snes version. Its interesting to note that there is abit more detail around the sides of the image than the SegaCD version even though the Segacd version is slightly higher res so no need for aspect correction by the tv. The game does suffer a tiny amount of slowdown later in the game, but its not as drastic as in the snes version.

The colour palette looks a little too purple but the worst aspect of this port is the sound and music. It doesnt really fit the game and doesnt sound nearly as dramatic as the snes version with does make this port less immersive.

The sega-cd version to me is the ultimate 16bit port of the game after the Amiga original. the cd audio really adds to the game. Just ignore Heart of the alien afterwards
