Shantae and the Pirate's Curse

Player's Review
Originally released in 2014 for the Nintendo 3DS, Shantae and the Pirate's Curse is the third game in the Shantae lineup. After the events of the last game, Shantae is no longer a half-genie and is now a magic-less human. Somewhere in an undisclosed location, an evil threatens to awaken and take control of Sequin Land. This evil takes all of Risky Boot's men and equipment, causing her to reluctantly team up with Shantae to defeat this evil. Now, Shantae with Risky's help must visit several islands and locate the den of evil in each, defeat the boss within, and prevent the Pirate Master from returning.
This is the first time I achieve 100% completion. Since there's no magical upgrades in the shop this time and just pirate equipment tune-ups, the criteria for 100% completion is to gather all the dark magic and heart squids from each island, which I promptly do. And as this game is the one I am most familiar with in the Shantae lineup, I manage to beat this game in fairly quick time. The only time I got lost is locating the last heart squid in Tan Line island and I look too excessively in the palace for it instead of in the dungeon where it actually was.
