KiKi KaiKai: Dotou-hen

Kiki Kaikai Dotou-Hen puts you in the shoes of Shinto priestess Sayo, as she traverses feudal Japan in hopes of rescuing the ancient spirits of luck that have been taken captive by a collection of monsters straight out of Japanese folklore.

Port of the Arcade original with slight differences and additions, such as 2-player support and another playable character (need to figure this out since I cannot read Japanese). This was the base for the PC Engine version as well, and before anyone asks, a fan translation exists which will be covered for the site very soon.
