Player's Review
Dig Dug II is an action arcade video game developed and published in Japan by Namco in 1985. It is a sequel to 1982's Dig Dug. Pookas and fire-breathing Fygars return as the enemies, but the side view tunneling of the original is replaced with an overhead view of an island maze.
The FDS version is an exact port of the original NES version, retaining the unique 72 stages in total for each loop, also that every 32 stages, the bonus fruit you get after sinking three pieces of ground is reset to the initial onion item and keeps going on until reaching stage 72 which rewards you with a 'final' Dig Dug Theater cutscene upon completion. In this video I try to show off all of them and picking them up for extra points as well (and for bragging rights LOL).
