Player's Review
From wiki :-
"The R360 is a motion-based arcade cabinet produced by Sega. It was first released in Japan in 1990, and internationally a year later. Being short for "Rotate 360", the R360 is noteworthy for its ability to spin 360 degrees in any direction on two metal axes, allowing the player to freely move as the cabinet mimics the in-game action, including the ability to turn completely upside down. A safety bar and four-point safety harness are utilized to keep players in the seat as the machine moves. An emergency stop button is also present both inside the machine and on the attendant tower."
G-LOC R360 is a Special Edition version of G-LOC Air Battle developed for the R360. It's less of a game but more of an Experience as you cant die and are free to fly around causing the R360 to spin you around and shoot an unlimited number of missiles shooting down as many planes as you can in two minutes.
The longplay shows firstly a run through of Experience mode where you would just sit and experience the movement of what going on onscreen. Secondly there is a play of flight mode where you attempt to take out a record number of planes in two minutes.
Overall, this would have been great to experience in the day even if you wasnt a fan of the standard version of the game. It would have cost a few quid a go and your time on it was short to make sure everyone in the que got a go befoe the machine potentially breaks down from all the movement.
