I stink at this game (I only made it to Stage 3 or 4 on Taito Legends 2).
A hard cute 'em up developed by Taito and the first game in the series.
Follow Sayo-chan as she goes around the world to rescue the Seven Lucky Gods and a boat. Ofuda and gohei are involved.
This game was ported to many platforms...in Japan! An English version of KiKi KaiKai was released in Taito Legends 2 (that is how I came across this game as well as it's original name. What the flip is "Pocky & Rocky"?). From what I read, there is a bootleg version called Knight Boy (same as KiKi KaiKai but with an english title), but that doesn't count.
I found out later that Manuke (the tanuki) can be hit with the gohei. -_- Also, Stage 8 is endless unless you find the 3 scrolls. Using the time stop sorta glitches the stage (it becomes infinite).
