Black Sect (Fan Translation)
| |
Player's Review
The PC version translation of Black Sect, which is a bit different than the Atari ST one.
Black Sect is a port of the Amstrad CPC game "La Secte Noir". Sects in France are synonymous with cults, so the correct translation of the title should have been Black Cult (or Dark Cult).
Ported in 1993 for the Amiga, ST, and PC DOS. It didn't fared well and so Lankhor gave up on future adventure games they planned (such as Sukiya).
There was a sequel called "Le Temple des Maudits" (Temple of the Evil) but it never materialised outside Amstrad CPC.
