Dig Dug: Digging Strike

Taizo Hori, the original Dig Dug, is not happy that his son, Mr. Driller Susumu Hori, is getting real popular and stealing Taizo's thunder. So an incident happens in Horinesia involving monsters coming out to the surface, and Taizo jumps at the chance to soothe his mid-life crisis. The gameplay is a cross between Dig Dug 1 & 2: The trick is to sink the big boss's area by strategically sinking the stakes that create faults that collapse whatever makes a straight line. Naturally there's monsters and gimmicks that get in the way!

I just play the main story, nothing else. I attempt to show the credits, but I accidentally hit one of the buttons and I couldn't go back. Whoops!
