RPG by Racjin. Remake of SaGa 2 for the Game Boy. You might know it as Final Fantasy Legend 2. :3

Follow an adventurer (or summan) along with three other buddies of your choice as they go on an adventure to find special treasure while also looking for the lead person's father.

Remake of SaGa 2 but still follows a bit of the original's rules (Human and Esper stat raising, agility STILL being important, and Robot mechanics) with some changes here and there: robots can be made into magic casters (normally, they suck at magic casting), monster eating rules have changed a bit (eating a certain way can give you a variant of a monster), Espers can be made to be a certain "type", Humans gain proficiency when using certain weapons repeatedly, turn order manipulation, and link attacks (chaining attacks that become more powerful). There's also a team title thing that is kinda there for show but is important when unlocking sub-events (sidequests).

This [long] longplay tries to casually go through the game with a not-so-recommended team of Human, Esper, Robot, and Monster while obtaining ALMOST every sub-event. "Almost" because you only get 5 Shining Jewel sub-events per playthrough and there's 8 of them. Everything else is completed. At the last minute, I decided to attempt to fill out the Meat Dictionary: I transform into EVERY monster in the game, so there will be a LOT of grinding (and some manipulation here and there) to find certain monster meats to level up and level DOWN the monster (and I do a big deleveling to get the level 1 monster I didn't know I could get. Noticed by observation.). Thank goodness for a Japanese wiki with a simplified chart for meat eating. No. The meat-eating tool for the Game Boy version doesn't work too well. There's lots of extensive grinding at first to figure out how Linking works to change team title (figured out I had to move the thread to the top of the list.), definitely a big ol' grind sometimes between worlds to fill out the dictionary, and beefing with bosses in the Arena of the Dead to get some equipment. There's a bit of sittin' around on excavation chests to manipulate the item inside...which actually kinda don't matter in the grand scheme of things.
