Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction (Prototype)

Cancelled Nintendo DS version of a Splinter Cell game that originally came out for Xbox 360 and PC. This version in particular uses the same engine as Assassin's Creed: Altair's Chronicles, which is very obvious since this one was being developed by the same team.

While it follows the same story as in the original version, every aspect of gameplay is different as it plays like the aforementioned Assassin's Creed game for the stealth sections, and as for the action ones, it reminds me a lot of Time Crisis. In terms of content it seems to be quite unfinished, as there is no ending, some of the unlockable documents are unavailable with no way to at least unlock all of them through cheating; speaking of cheats, I had to use one to get past some doors with a keylock. Turns out blowing the microphone does not work no matter how hard you try. There was even one stage that required me to reset so I could bypass a softlock.

The game also features a minigame mode that does not work properly as it was left unfinished by the developers, all of them load an empty section where you just walk around. Because of it, I decided to not show it off.
