Player's Review
This 'game' is part of a series of four 'titles' that are technically the same thing except for graphics. This means same gameplay, same game modes, same... almost everything. No wonder why people hated them because of the rushed and unpolished treatment DDI (Data Design Interactive) gave to them during development and (lack of) QA testing.
Here you control a gingerbread doll that sort-of acts like a ninja. You use the katana for close combat and a pistol (?) for ranged attacks, this also makes bullets stronger if an enemy is killed with it (the meter is decreased gradually if getting hit). Yeah, basic gameplay, and nope, there is no real plot at all here.
This video shows the regular mode and Hidden Pickups that is an unlockable upon first time completion. I really wanted to do Score Attack but there is a bug that makes it to not be completed properly EVEN after collecting the required amount of 'candies' that are scattered inside the levels, also that the aforementioned mode (and Time Attack) are based on the regular mode while keeping the same objective of getting the 8 blue vials, so they're nothing interesting.
