Player's Review
After liking the original Resident Evil for the PS1 I have decided to get this version of the game remade for the gamecube ported over to the wii.
This version of the game is much better than the original version in almost every way, except the dialogue isn't as cheesy as the original.
This is my first time playing this version of the game so I will be seeing new things for the first time, like Lisa was new to the game and a bunch of puzzles and a few puzzles that were made differently got me confused sometimes so you may find me trying to figure out some puzzles as it is the first time I am dealing with them.
One thing that I do not like is the framerate of teh cutscenes, I do not know how they looked on the gamecube version but on this the frames seemed merged together and just made it look bad.
I found the lack of Hunters to be disappointing though, I only fought about 5 or so and I really hated the new Crimson Head zombies, those were so annoying I just used the combat shotgun through the second half of the game just so I can blow the zombie heads off and not deal with them.
Overall I found it a very good remake, if only they could do the same thing for Resident Evil 2 and 3.
