Pikmin

Hello everyone! Sebbe12 here bringing you my first solo longplay. This time it is going to be "Pikmin". Note that the version I played was made for the Wii, but I played the game on Wii U.

"Pikmin" was first released on October 26th in 2001 in Japan to the Nintendo Gamecube. 7 years later, they made a version so that you could play "Pikmin" on the Wii as well.

The main protagonist, in this game, is Captain Olimar, who is from the Planet Hocotate. The story begins when Olimar is on a vacation in outer space. During his flight, a comet hits his spaceship, the S.S. Dolphin, and he is then pulled into the gravity field of an unknown planet, which he crashes onto. When Olimar wakes up, he finds out that the planet's atmosphere is full of oxygen - an element which is deadly to people of his kind - and he has only 30 days left before his life support system stops working. The S.S. Dolphin is missing 30 parts and Olimar must collect as many of them to rebuild his spaceship and return home. Although Olimar was alone on the S.S. Dolphin a new type of creature, Pikmin - which he finds in the beginning of the game - are there to help him.

It is worth noting, that you can complete the game by only collecting 25 parts, but since this is a longplay I will be collecting every part
