This Windows 95/98 version was released in the US as Virtua Squad 2, and uses the Saturn textures instead of the ones in its original Arcade release. I started off the longplay by playing the Proving Ground mode first, which is some sort of training challenge, as for the Arcade mode I did two playthroughs due to branched paths (left and right route) in each stage. The PC port has somewhat regular to mediocre response for the mouse controls, just like in the prequel; only that in this case the slow reloading issue was addressed, but still, movement is erratic. I guess this was meant to be played with Saturn lightgun.
