SolarWolf (Freeware)

Developed in Python/Pygame, this freeware game is a modern reimagination of SolarFox, a very simple game that was released exclusively for the Atari 2600. It features 60 stages in total, each one having a different layout for the blocks. Completing a stage while the right meter is not empty results in skipping the next one, a feature I did not take advantage of as I wanted to show off every single level, which is why in some stages I spent some time dodging enemy bullets while waiting for the 'skip a level' meter to deplete.

Version 1.5 of the game was played here. Yes, I know there's a 1.6 build released in 2023, but it doesn't add anything relevant aside from making it compatible with newer versions of any OS. As this was recorded on DOSBox-X core running a Windows 98 machine, the waving effect at credits screen might look 'broken', there was nothing I could do to fix that minor glitch.
