Stasis

I really enjoyed this game as I am a fan of claustrophobic-survival horror-sci fi games/movies etc. You take the role of John Marachek in his quest to find his family in a derelict spaceship while uspeakable horrors lurk in every corner. Even from the first screen the player can feel the immense horror and loneliness of our hero. Nothing good is going to come out of it! Darkness, doom, death & despair is the only fate. Progressing in the game and reading the various logs, you learn about the events and what happened to the crew and the ship. For those who want to be immersed in the story reading the logs is a must. I display each log for about five seconds so anyone who wishes to read the logs can pause the game. Also, I display the description of various items for a few moments for the same reason. One thing I didn't like was the fact that I had to click more than once on an item for an action to be performed. Controls in general were clunky. This game was obviously influenced by movies like Event Horizon and games like System Shock and Dead Space. There is a compilation of fails and deaths at the end of the video.
