Destruction Derby 64

Destruction derby for the Nintendo 64. I played the DD games on playstation original but was never really that good at them. The N64 version however seems so much easier. The ai cars are not smashing each other up so much that they take all the score and also don't seem to score more than 250-300 points giving you a very good chance to get through each race. The only anomaly is ont he destruction junction track. the ai cars seem to destroy them selves on a relatively simple track so you need to pretty much forget the race and just smash them us as soon as possible else you be the only racer by end of lap 2. The frame rate is quite low in the game which leads me to under/oversteer at times. Its nice and fast however in the Time Trials.

I have shown unlocking every vehicle in the game. To do this you must use a specific car in a specific event and win.

00:00:00 - Any car, Novice Championship, unlocks Street Rocket car.

00:15:42 - Street Rocket, Amateur Championship, Unlocks the Taxi Cab.

00:38:55 - Taxi Cab, professional Championship, unlock the Pickup truck. This was a blood long championship. The taxi has great defence, but lacks offense so takes for ever to damage the other cars. Its also quite difficult to drive.

01:32:20 - Pickup truck, Legend Championship. Unlocks the Ambulance. The truck is a great vehicle packing a punch making quick work of this championship. Also leads onto the game credits.

02:23:20 - Time Trials. The times are not tight so easy to beat. But you do need to use a specific vehicle on each track to unlock the remaining cars. It also means playing the tracks in a specific order and you need to have complete the Novice championship for the first required car.

And that's it. 100% unlocks.
