Player's Review

Dukes of Hazzard Racing for Home was developed by Sinister Games and published by Southpeak games for the PlayStation in 1999 and also appeared on the PC and Gameboy Color.

I play the game on Hard, but just made the game annoyingly over difficult for myself causing me to replay some levels a few times. Just stick to normal difficulty for a more ..fun game. On hard the car is quite delicate and with the cpu cars completely out of control and ramming you, its a game mechanic that became annoying fast.

The game can get a little repetitive as you are pretty much on the same tiny map split into 4 sections the whole game. 3 basic missions (race/pullover and timetrial) are constantly rotating until you beat the game.

Some actors reprise there roles and supply the voices to the game. The race engine seems quite basic for 1999 on the ps1. The FMV is a good effort I thought although the faces are way off and look nothing like the original actors.
