Final Lap Twin *Needs Merging*

Player's Review
Final Lap Twin is a primarily a 1-player or 2-player racing game, but there is a 1-player "quest" role-playing mode, where the player goes around the world racing opponents in an attempt to become the world champion driver. This video is a submission of the "quest" mode.
The plot is that you are a young man and your father wants you to become the world champion. As you go out and travel from city to city (all the cities have names very similar to real-life cities, like "Etroit" for "Detroit" ) racing opponents to earn money for better parts for your car, and which then allow you to beat the local city champion to earn their secret car part. Once you have all the secret car parts by beating the local city champions, you can then challenge the world champion.
The game itself is pretty linear. I essentially went the only option I could go. If I were to go further into the other cities without the best car parts from the previous city, I would likely lose and when you lose you get sent back home to Detroit, where Dad gives you $300 every time. So to keep progressing through the game you have to continuously beat the players in that area before you can move on. The players "attack" you in typical RPG style - you walk around and suddenly one pops up and challenges you to a race. If you don't have a better car body equipped then you can't decline. You'll see that in most cases I knew I wouldn't be able to get away with declining or I needed the money anyway, so I accepted 98% of my challenges.
As far as mistakes, I did lose once or twice but instead of cutting it out I thought it was best to leave it in to show how you get knocked back to where you started the game. I raced Fat Pat (Flago's city champion) without equipping my new wing - you can see me equip it right after I beat him so I wouldn't forget again. Other than that, it plays out pretty nicely. I especially enjoy the music when riding the magic board in the water, and the race with the world champion came down to a photo finish. It's a fun game and I hope you enjoyed it.
Part 2 video includes the F3000 GP and F1 GP modes that are also a feature in this game.
