Castlevania: Circle of the Moon
REPLACEMENT LONGPLAY

Player's Review
Metroidvania by Konami.
Follow a d00d with a whip as he treks through a castle to rescue his Master from the goddamn Batman!
Gameplay is like all the other Castleroids before it: go left and right, get lost, find a progression Macguffin, figure out where da heck you use this item to advance further! To spice things up, you are given the DSS (Dual System Set-Up): combine one card with another card to do some kind of thing that uses the MP bar. The problem is figuring out where the cards are in the first place and going into a BIG grind because the cards have a REALLY lousy drop rate. Then again, almost every item in the game has a lousy drop rate.
This longplay plays through the game a kazillion times to show Vampire Hunter, Magician, Fighter, Shooter, and Thief modes. VH goes for 100% map rate and all cards. Lilith is fought but I learned MUCH later that there are MORE hidden enemies...AND I NEVER KNEW ABOUT THEM! Magician, Fighter, and Shooter just goes through the game while hitting up hidden rooms and grabbing the increases (even MP as Fighter lol). I may or may not have missed an item or three because I never played this game alot...or rather haven't played in years. Arena is ignored for Magician because it is cancer. No try-harding for cards as Shooter because drop rate be dumb. Thief goes sweaty tryhard and gets every item (one of every consumable, body, arms, and cards) and goes for 100% map rate. DSS glitch is shown a bit during VH but not abused (no Thunderbirb summoning to trivialize bosses, for example). There may or may not be savestate spamming to manipulate enemy drops. :3 I want my double Double Grips, okay?!
