Player's Review
Platformer by Sonic Team to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the Blue Blur.
Follow Sanic as he jumps and spins around loop-de-loops to fight a fat egg-shaped doctor dood and other mechanical critters while searching for some mystical rocks.
Pretty much a port of the Mega Drive game of the same name. Added was an Anniversay mode, where Sonic can do the Spin Dash introduced in Sonic 2. Sadly, this is a REALLY REALLY bad port. The most noticeable thing is the framerate dip. It is prevalent throughout the WHOLE game. I think it was something about the GBA not being able to handle, but what do I know.
This longplay drop frames through Anniversary mode while collecting the six Chaos Emeralds. Deaths kept intact because this game is ASS and I didn't care! Shame, this would be a good game....if it didn't have framerate drops!
