We are still waiting on a suitable Amiga AGA emulator with robust recording features before tackling such games.

Equinox, developed by Raffaele Cecco and published by Mikro-Gen in 1986.
"In the interminable depths of space, Asteroid Sury-Ani 7 floats majestically in a 400 year orbit. The crater scarred surface obscures the danger that lies below - a danger conjured by man in his attempt to strive forward in space colonisation. radio active canisters that were due for disposal now lie exposed in Suri-Ani 7's mining complex. The human inhabitants have now departed and only you - a disposal droid remain to dispose of the canisters before they become critical and annihilate the whole complex."
So here is one of his earliest commercial games from Raffaele Cecco who went on to make the great Exolon and Cybernoid games among many others. It is 1986 and the game is very colorful which is the norm for original games written for the spectrum in contrast to all the arcade conversions that are monochrome.
It in an interesting game if you are into those find item and use at 'x' style games, for which there are hundreds ont he 8 bit micro computers. The levels are small and fairly easy to memorize and navigate, but even with few objects per level, you still have to juggle when and where you will use them as you can only carry on item at a time.
The collision detection is very forgiving given that the enemies move around quite quickly in a random pattern. To get hit you pretty much have to be stood still, or fly directly into them. While you move around you burn fuel which can be replenished by collecting and using the red canisters. There is one level where it can be a while before one is available so its a good idea to collect one before moving to the next level. Weapon power can be replenished by collecting the green batteries and there are plenty of those.
