Player's Review
"You better watch out... Help guide the Lemmings through this winter wonderland of bouncing snowmen, brightly wrapped holiday gifts and an assortment of seasonal trimmings. Help them get home safely for the holidays!"
Christmas Lemmings is a standalone release of Lemmings with a Christmas theme including Santa outfits and snow levels and Christmas music. 32 levels are included split into two difficulty levels. Previously at the end of 1991, an X-Mas themed demo containing four levels was published on Amiga Format 30. The game was also released on pc and mac and oddly each of the three versions has there own music selection.
The longplay shows playing through all 32 levels. The game starts off quite easy and then the difficulty gets mixed up with easy and hard levels seemingly thrown in at random until near the end where the difficulty ramps up requiring some pixel perfect precision and timing to make sure the lemming is in the right exact spot to use the required ability. There is plenty of challenge here, don't let the Christmas theme fool you.
Overall, it's lemmings so if you enjoyed 120 levels of that, you are sure to like another 30. A couple of annoying levels near the end and the level where you have to find the right hut can be annoying but other than that, it's all good fun. Interesting to note that the last set of level names are all based on Star Trek.

Also available to download are the two X-Mas themes Oh No More lemmings demo's. The first was included on Amiga Format issue 30 Jan 1991 features four levels, two Christmas themed and two oh no more lemmings. A second x-Mas demo appears in December 1992 but I think it was distributed via pd libraries as I only came across it years later on a pd collection cd and haven't come across it as a cover disk.
