Player's Review
"Advanced Ski Simulator is the best skiing game around - it's captured all the excitement and atmosphere of the Alps! "This simulation is so good, it's just like being on the slopes!"
Guide you Skier through six courses within the time limit. mash the fire button to get some speed and then its a case of hold fire and drift until you need to turn. try to keep to downward slops as it's painful to button mash upwards. Plenty of stuff to crash into and watch the jumps on the slopes. The opponent is just there as a guide and doesnt matter if they dont complete in the time limit.
Overall, another minimalistic conversion to the Amiga. Sure it looks much better with some extra sound effects but it control badly and can be really annoying to find the right line. To top it off, it only has six tracks instead of the expected seven. Whilst fine for a budget release on the 8Bits, I think Amiga owners expected more even at a budget price.
