"THE QUEST: to qualify as a Formula One driver. Experience all the thrills of the arcade original as you stretch your driving skills to the limit. Eight international circuits have to be conquered in a series of grueling races - are you up to it?"
This is a conversion that I enjoyed playing on both the spectrum and C64. Its short, simple and not overly difficult. This is a game I got from the first issue of Commodore Force and together with Gemini Wing made for a great opening cover tape.
Not much else to say really. The C64 version is less detailed with its chunky cars than the Spectrum version but overall plays, looks and sounds good for a budget game. I do show the car catching fire and pitting which costs me time and position which is why I needed to replay stage 2.
