Player's Review
"In Bruce lee you will experience the power and the glory of Bruce Lee, one of the greatest masters of the martial arts. As Bruce Lee, you will confront a barrage of vicious foes. You must penetrate the fortress of the Evil Wizard and claim his fortunes. Destroying the Wizard will earn you immortality and infinite wealth!
As you enter one of the many secret chambers deep within the fortress, you are pursued by two of your most fearless enemies: the Ninja, a skillful fighter with an arsenal of deadly weapons, and his partner, the massive Green Yamo, who can deliver bone-crushing blows. Added threats await you in the Evil Wizard's chambers where you become the target of deadly fire from the eyes of the wizard. Only you possess the strength and ability to conquer these enemies. Now you too, can experience the excitement of Bruce Lee.. The Legend still lives on."
A well known classic for the C64. A fairly challenging game requiring you to collect all the bells on each screen to unlock new areas. The game isn't too difficult up to the point where you need to avoid an electrified floor then it really cranks up. No need to worry about pixel perfect jumping but there is some timing related obstacles that can be tricky. The enemies don't pose much of a threat but you can fight them if you are going for a high score. Once the game is completed, the game loops and you can continue on with a higher level of difficulty. The enemies move faster and respawn quicker. It all ends the same way so I didn't show a second run.
Overall, it's a good game for 1984 on the C64. The Controls can be a little odd at times with Bruce often wanting to climb things as you walk past em which can get you in trouble.
