Player's Review
"You are Super Joe, the crack combat soldier of the eighties battling against all odds to defeat the advancing rebel forces. Equipped with only an M60 machine gun and six hand grenades you carry out your lone crusade forcing your way into hostile territory."
Space Invasion is Pretty much the exact same game as Commando only this has had some sprite graphics and a title change in an attempt to defeat 'The Index' and have your violent youth corrupting game released in Germany.
In this game, instead of gunning down soldiers, you are now putting a stop to alien robots from outta space! However there is a good chance that these robots were part of a Nazi invasion from the dark side of the moon so maybe this game was banned to.
Like commando, the game only has three levels. I play through twice with the second run mainly to get rid of collected lives and grenades. The game ultimately loops forever with no ending although if you play long enough to allow your score and grenades to rollover you could end up with no nades and a low overall score, not even making the high score table.
At the end of the video I let the music play out uninterrupted.
