Player's Review
"F14 TOMCAT: LETS GET DOWN TO SOME SERIOUS DESTRUCTION! Climb into the cockpit of the devastating F14 TOMCAT Fighter. Take to the skies in this explosive combat simulation. F14 TOMCAT features progressive weaponry, breath-taking graphics and compulsive gameplay."
A budget priced single load shootemup game. The game features four levels of shootemup action that gets ever more difficult as you progress. Weapon upgrades are dropped by some gun turrets when destroyed . Should you lose a life, you will lose all upgrades. Unfortunately, it's another game that loops forever until all lives are lost with no ending or even a highscore table.
For £1.99 overall its an good game with the typical colourful chunky gfx of the C64. A couple of nice tunes Jeroen Tel, non of which you can hear during play. Presentation looks to mimic Afterburner.
