We are still waiting on a suitable Amiga AGA emulator with robust recording features before tackling such games.

Another £2.99 budget release in the Simulator series from Codemasters. This one uses the same title music as SAS Combat Sim. The game can be quite challenging as you get 3 lives an no way to get more.
The game has four levels made up of two stages. The first stage plays a little like Atari Combat with the bouncy bullets. You need to move slowly up the map and take out any enemies as you see them. There may a few powerups to collect which will help such as invulnerability. Just make it to the top of the stage to win. But keep an eye out for mines/bombs which appear when you are close to them. Taking your time helps with this stage.
Stage 2 is like Operation Wolf. The stages are short but any enemy makes it near the other side of the screen you will take a hit. Any launched missiles will need to be taken out quickly. It took mea little time to realise that you can actually just hold the fire button down for this stage. Initially I though t it was single shots from the tank.
Overall a very challenging budget game. It will most likely be stage 2 of each level that eats your lives. But At least you know that if you make it to the end of the game, you qualify as an Elite Tank Commander.
