Player's Review

"A gripping new mega miles per hour arcade simulation of a Super Cobra attack helicopter is set to enthral game players everywhere. HELLFIRE ATTACK puts the player firmly in the seat of a deadly two-seater turbo-powered Your task is to fly through fields of combat all over the world, both day and night. Flying low into battle, all manner of enemy aircraft will attack you. You must get them before they get you. A breath-taking multi- level arcade experience, with graphics, sound and animation of the highest calibre. Grab that joystick and take to the skies."

This is an interesting one. You fly a helicopter and have to shoot down enemies, Afterburner style. You can also shoot ground targets for extra points. There are multiple landscapes to play through as you progress to keep things interesting.

You are equipped with auto firing bullets and missiles. Because music is only played until a missile is fired, i play through stage one with just bullets. from the second stage though, the difficulty starts to ramp up as the enemy also fires missiles which can be very tricky to dodge. You do have a boost function though which can help. On later levels enemies fire fast, pretty much as soon as they are on screen so you have to be really quick with your missile to destroy them and by the last stages, there missiles move fast and are almost unavoidable.

Overall its not a bad game, but can be a bit to difficult. The game is however endless until your lives run out as its loops back to the start which is a shame. I think the game would have done well with the Airwolf Licence and music though and be far better than the Airwolf games we got.
