Player's Review

"BMX 2 - Up to FOUR players at the same time! Choose your rider, customize your own bike. The burms, bumps and ramps really work. 10 action packed courses plus ACTION REPLAY with SLO-MO. BMX 2 has to be the best BMX game yet!"

Another budget 1.99 BMX release and an off one at that being a cut down version of the Pro game released previously.

The game is split into two loads with side one featuring the Standard Dirt Biking levels and side have the Expert Quarry Racing levels. five races are available in each but there is nothing shown for winning them. The standard game is the easier of the two with no collisions with bikers. The expert levels you can make changes to the bike. Tyres change how well you take corners vs speed and chain ring changes your acceleration vs speed.

Overall, not a great release after playing the pro game. being cut down it is considerably shorter but still not without it's challenge. The fifth track has an unfairly tight time limit but the cpu players can and do make mistakes taking some of the pressure off. A good start is really important and holding fire the moment the green flag drops.
