"BRILLIANTLY REALISTIC! 3 can play simultaneously! POWERSLIDE round hairpins-CAREFUL! Don't spin it! SMASH your mate into a TREE but don't damage your own car! C'mon -hurry up! PUT THE PEDAL TO THE METAL!!!"

Another Simulator from Codemasters and another good one. Building on the previous game, this one is now smoother and more detailed although it has fewer tracks. This time you can play with three players! Like the previous game you just need to do a couple of laps around each track within the time limit to progress to the next. The gameplay mechanic for this game though is that you need to finish each track as quickly as possible to build up bonus time. This is important for later, more difficult tracks as you are going to need as much time as possible to get around them.

The cars are quite slippy so good control of speed and breaking is needed to get around corners. If you hit anything, you will stall the car and take damage. The more damage you take, the slower the car gets. You can collide with the opponent cars slowing them down but I don't think they will be bothered if they are cpu cars as they will always make it to the next stage.

Overall, this is another good top down racer that is worth going back to. Quite often on the Quattro releases there would be one good game and three not so good and this would be the better of them. It's a good conversion and having coloured cars helps keep the focus on your vehicle.
