Player's Review

"'Absolutely Brilliant! The fastest newest form of aqua-sport. Fantastically realistic and infuriatingly addictive. Includes an Expert version, a 2-player option, realistic power-drifting, and aqua speed jumps. Carve up your friends over 24 exciting racing circuits...lakes, coasts, and docklands. Amazing Value. Buy it. You won't regret it!'"

This a full price release coming on two cassettes much like Pro BMX Simulator. On tape one you load the tape side with the difficulty you want to play starting with the lake levels. In game you can load Coast or Dock levels from the second tape.

Much like previous top down racers except this time on a jet ski power sliding on the water. You compete against the clock across eight courses to become the ultimate winner. This is for one or two players with four competitors total made up by the cpu. In this game you only have to cross the line in the top three. Coming in last is game over. The time limit is not an issue as its only a problem id you are lagging behind in forth place which is going to end you anyway.

The controls reasonably well but the C64 game has major problems with collision detection like the level gfx are not quite aligned with the course restrictions. Whilst you get two difficulty options which are strangely two different builds of the game instead of a simple in game toggle, the only notable difference between them is the time limits and slightly different wording in the ending. The cpu opponents are relentless seemingly operating a far superior jet bike making few mistakes.

Overall, I don't really like this game much. It's doesnt play quite as well as the spectrum game due to collision issues and its not much fun to play with relentless cpu players, maybe better in multiplayer. Only Expert version was recorded. Nothing of note to show in a standard recording.
