Player's Review
"Amazing playability! A brilliant stuntman simulation. Featuring fantastic desert car chases - Power speed boat racing, frantic forest rallying and turbo boost Grand Canyon jumping!!! These are just a few of the amazing stunts included!"
The C64 game might be the best of the tree eight bit versions, but that's not saying much. The game takes place over seven levels of movie action. levels require you to navigate the obstacles and cross the finish line within a time limit. If you drive the wrong way and get stuck, you can reverse the car. The boat levels are a bit more simple and a better version of powerboat simulator than the released game!
You get a few lives as it's possible to be shot , crash or misjudge a jump. Losing a life results in a score bonus but you only get two per scene. A third life lost is game over.
Overall, it's alright for a simple budget game. The levels are fairly short but the time limit can be restricting if losing lives. The Spectrum version is more a play once and never again affair but this C64 game isn't to bad as it controls well enough and moves at a fast pace.
