Player's Review
"Body slam the opponents in this crushing wrestle war. Use the ropes, bash the bullies and make all the moves in this devastatingly realistic battle of the titans"
A fairly simple but well presented wrestling game. By simple I don't mean easy. There are four opponents to face and three rounds to play in each. You must win two of them to defeat the opponent. You can jump off the corners and bounce off the ropes while choosing to do a flying kick or not. If you miss you are left open to a pin.
As well as walking around the ring, holding fire allows you to punch and kick with the direction buttons slowly knocking down the opponents energy bar. It doesnt do much in the long run but at least each hit gives you a point which will be tallied if the time runs out before defeating the opponent. The bulk of the damage is delt when winning the grapple via vigorously waggling the joystick. Winning the grapple results in picking up the opponent where you can throw them or perform a helicopter to take off a little more energy, but not to much as it can cause you to lose energy before throwing and pinning them.
Overall, It is a budget game and you get a budget experience. It works well enough but you have a very limited move set limiting the enjoyment. The difficulty is winning the grapple as the cpu player doesnt let up and doesnt give you much if any time to drain there energy when pinning.
