Player's Review
"Set in a hotel, your task as a photo-journalist is to snatch an exclusive shot of a glamour girl staying somewhere in the hotel. You must first collect your all hidden in camera, flash, press pass and the key to her room other rooms. Complete your assignment by the Editors deadline, which is displayed at the bottom of the screen. The hotel staff-porters, waiters, purser and cook don't like you rushing around their hotel opening doors - neither does MR ANGRY!"
A fairly simplistic platformer not without it's challenge. The game has ten unique levels which loop with increased difficulty. The game is endless. On each level you need to navigate the lifts and ladders to reach doors which you can open and take any objects inside which could be a press pass, camera, flashbulb or a key which is needed to open the final door in the top left with the lucky lady that's about to be photographed.
The challenge is avoiding all the hotel staff. Just so we don't have to repeat all the levels multiple times I have opted to jump to the highest level five difficulty which adds all the staff. They will try to block your way and snatch you if you cross them but you can get lucky and jump past them if they are not paying attention. Each time you are caught the items change location so you cant just plan your route where you found stuff before.
Overall, it's an alright game for 1985 and has that pixilated look that games try to replicate today. There is not much going on sonically though and we have lost the music that was in Stringer not that it was anything special. Lifts can be annoying as you cant jump onto them and have to wait for them to line up perfectly with the top or bottom before stepping on or off.
