Player's Review

"A fast action arcade game featuring real gravity and smooth movement. Thrust over the lunar terrain blasting the hordes of gruesome aliens before they devour you"

Side scrolling jetpack shooter. Keep flying to the right looking for you base at the bottom of the screen. enter it to go to the next stage. All the while fighting the effects of gravity, shooting enemies and keeping an eye on fuel and ammo which you can replenish when you see the collectables. Run out of fuel or get shot then you die. Fortunately you have infinite lives but each time you die you lose time on the clock. Should the time run out, game over.

Make no mistake, the game might look simple but the way it moves and how fast fuel runs out makes the game very challenging. The game moves quite smoothly but if you move to fast, you may not be able to slow down in time for the all important fuel pickup. The time limit isn't aggressively tight so you can take your time as long as you are always moving forward.

Overall, it one of the better budget games from Codemasters but you do need to get used to the controls to enjoy it. There are tewn levels to work through each longer than the previous and level five, a bonus level with some easy points to collect as MC collectables are everywhere can be skipped as the base is right below you at the start and this my be involuntary as the next level starts almost instantly as you finish the previous without giving you time to get your bearings.
