Player's Review

"This exciting new graphic adventure game contains aunique interesting story line which will really stretch your imagination-with excellent graphics and playability. A great challenge.

THE NECRIS-DOME
In a future time the Earth's resources are severely depleted and to conserve vital energy a decision was made to consign the Earth's dead to a floating cemetery in its orbit. The satellite was aptly named the Necris Dome and was run by the mandroids led by the Arch-mandroid. Over the years the arch- mandroid has become renegade and now thinks for himself. He has become a threat to human life.
For many years there has been a total ban of all weapons on Earth but there have been rumours that the arch-mandroid has armed the Necris Dome with powerful weapons and that he intends to use them against Earth to further some evil plot of his own.
As a member of the Secret Forces you have been assigned to investigate the situation aboard the Dome and to destroy the arch- mandroid at all costs, even if it means the destruction of the satellite to do it.
You will be shipped aboard with the next batch of dead in a robot craft. You must keep your wits about you and should remember that it is possible that the programming of the mandroids has been tampered with by the arch-mandroid and it is not certain whether these are also a danger to man. From here on you are on your own. Good Luck."

Selling a game made at home in a Graphic Adventure creator package seems a bit off and playing it, it definitely is. Playing this now with a solution at hand (by Jackie Holt) it gives the impression of being like any other text adventure. Playing without, I think you would get frustrated and stuck early on it expects you to do things without telling you items are available to do it. The point where you find the Thermo Suit. You need it to enter the refrigeration area next door or instant death awaits!. But first you need to spray it, but with what? Taking the suit auto awards the aerosol, and spraying it automatically puts the suit on, but how would you know to do that! And then there is the 'multi functi' (which you can just call multi) which could have had a better name. It's kind of funny that you can just type 'kill mandroid' and it will do it without requiring an item. And again later on you can shoot so did it hand you a gun without mentioning it ?? and at the end of course the 'shoot' function doesnt work and you have to 'fire at' the reactor and I don't remember picking up a homing device.

Overall, this is a short text adventure when the solution is known but without you will be banging your head against a wall. There are plenty of ways to die in the game so you do need to do things in a particular order to get around. It would be nice to keep every item in your pocket but the transrods activate certain areas of the map depending which colours you hold when entering certain rooms so you do need to drop them in safe places. As C64 games go this is underwhelming with no music or sfx at all.
