Puzzle Boys (Fan Translation)

Enhanced port of Kwirk (also known as Puzzle Boy in Japan) for the Famicom Disk System, featuring four sets of 30 puzzles which vary on difficulty. Some of the puzzles required some bit of improvisation because the FAQ I used to progress through this game had either confusing or wrong solutions for them. The ending scene is pretty short with no staff roll, which in my opinion is somewhat lacking given the game's length. After the main mode I go through time attack mode which features a random selection of puzzles that need to be completed before the points counter goes down to zero (not exactly a timer but it gives extra points for fast thinking). Versus mode is pretty much the same thing, only that you get to compete against a friend locally.

The game can be completed just fine without a translation patch though I used one for convenience reasons, the patch translates menu texts and a few quotes. A TurboGrafx-16 version exists which is the same game except for differences in palette.
